Olimpia Handal’s multi talented works and experiences in the event planning arena dates back from her childhood years in her home country El Salvador. She grew up in Aldeas Infantiles SOS/SOS Children’s Villages International, an orphanage located in Sonsonate state, where she used to sing, choreograph, and participate in musical events since she was 7 years old.
By the age of 13, she was in charge of organizing and decorating civic and religious events as well as Quinceañera parties for her foster sisters in the orphanage. Her artsy hands led her to win several awards designing Christmas cards, colorful Easter carpet runners, piñatas, and Nativity displays during her High School years. She continued decorating events such as birthday parties, baby showers, and Quinceañeras for her friends and relatives in Philadelphia, PA and the Northern Virginia area.
Her passion for the arts, unique ideas, attention to details, professionalism, and excellent customer service makes her a valuable and sought after event planner in the Washington Metropolitan area.
